On the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, a project was organized by the primary school students of Hristo Uzunov and Sande Sterjoski was held in the small hall of the Cultural Center “Kocho Racin” – Kichevo starting at 6:00PM on 21st of February.
The activity took place in three languages, Albanian, Macedonian and Turkish, where the students together with their teachers talked about the stories of their languages. The mother tongue is a powerful tool for preserving and developing a nation’s national identity. The promotion and dissemination of the mother tongue is necessary for the protection of cultural traditions in the world that strengthen understanding, tolerance and dialogue between nations.
