On July 3d, 4th and 5th, the International Folklore Festival “Dr. Vladimir Polezhinoski” was held for the 15th time at the entry of the Culture Center.
This festival was organized by the Ministry of Culture along with the Culture Center “Kocho Racin” from Kichevo, in which the following guests took part, at our invitation:
- Youth Cultural Center “Kurbin” – R. Albania
- Youth Cultural Center from Pristina- R.Kosovo
- Ensemble “Qufad” from Izmir – R.Turkey
- Youth Cultural Center” Durres” – R. Albania
- Ensemble “Shpati” Elbasan- R. Albania
- “White Sea Breath” by R. Bulgaria
- Ensemble”Mladost”-Kicevo
- Ensemble “Ljiljan” from Skopje
- “Sounds of the Motherland” – R. Kosovo
- Ensemble “Biser”-Kicevo
All participating groups were given a certificate of appreciation and a modest gift.
This event, as one of the largest in the city of Kichevo, was well advertised, with the aim of spreading the information to all those who love folklore and had the opportunity to watch a rich and varied program of dances and songs for three days and two hours each.
