The Culture Center with the support of the Ministry of Culture successfully held the solo exhibition of the painter Endrita Purellku entitled “Spiritual crap”.
Endrita Purellku was born on 14.04.1996 in Skopje. Graduated in painting, as a painter of figurative art at the University of Tetova, in 2019 in the class of Prof. Doc. Ilirjan Beqiri.
She is a member of the Association of Figurative Artists in the city of Tetova. Endrita is an artist from Kercova, she lives and works as a freelance artist in Tetovo.
Winner of the first prize for the best creation from the field of visual art from the Municipality of Tetova within the “Tetova Celebrates November-2019” manifestation. He has participated in many different collective exhibitions.
The first personal exhibition was held in 2020-“Exodus”-I.N. Tetovo Art Gallery
This year, realize the exhibition “Grotesque and despair” – Oda Foundation Gallery – Shkodër – Albania.
This exhibition is titled Spiritual Crap, this exhibition includes 15 works with different formats, made in the technique of oil on canvas with strong expressive expressions.
The artist says that for her art is truth. She refuses to paint something that does not fit in
her emotions. It reveals itself constantly and is equally broken down in the works as an invention, as a discovery of something original that emerges through experimentation. He has dealt with social themes with expressions of frustration, anxiety, disgust, dissatisfaction, violence and in general a kind of frantic intensity of feeling in response to the ugliness, harsh banality and possibilities and contradictions that modern life brings.
