Exhibition “Spiritual Garden” by Shpëtime Sadiku

The exhibition “Spiritual Garden” by the artist Shpëtime Sadiku was held at the Cultural Center. The exhibition shows the close connection between the flower, the living world and painting.
The artist through the flowers highlights the emotions. Therefore, it can be said that it is really a beautiful thing to “throw” the flowers in the painting, in the white space of the fabric, through the lines, colors and shapes, in a real or abstract way but by experienced each through his own spirituality. The technical realization of the paintings is based on two primary materials, fabrics and colors. Then, through the combined technique, it was enabled a faster and more feasible process of effects, shapes, sub-paintings. Although oil paints slow down the drying process, they nevertheless retain their freshness, add vitality and create impressive effects. In this garden we notice that the artist during her creation has consciously conveyed the powerful symbolism of flowers on life, existence, harmony, love and beauty.

Preoccupied with this motif, she aimed to display the warm poetics of flowers, where the value of color and the wide spectrum of their color prevail. It places the viewer in a moment of pure pleasure, so that it transforms the soul into an imaginary garden.

Shpëtime Sadiku was born on 05.08.1991 in Basel, Switzerland.

She completed her studies in 2016 at the State University of Tetova at the Faculty of Fine Arts, educational direction-Painting in the class of Prof. Ilirjan Beqiri.

Shpetime, has taken part in many collective exhibitions.
