In front of a large number of friends, guests and art lovers in the foyer of the NICC “Koço Racin” – Kërçovë, Аna Ivanovska presented her solo exhibition named “Echo”, financed by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia. In her presentation, she first thanked all those present, the Cultural Center and the Ministry of Culture for the support in the furition of this exhibition.
The display of photography was also a novelty. Digitally crafted photos of her face and hands, but also of the wounds on her body, which are placed at the core of the works. The global pandemic leaves its mark on people’s daily lives. It is not only about the restrictions that are imposed, or about physical and psychological health.
It is clear that Ivanovska focuses on her feelings and emotions. Also the thoughts directly caused by the pandemic and quarantine on the four walls, which like a mirror, now reflect the artist’s view.
